As above 26.4mm and around 300mm in length. Something a bit more exotic than a Kalloy post preferred. Ideally, blue anno but black may suffice.
Possibly X-Lite, Control Tech etc, though I'm unsure if they even produced a 26.4mm?
Cheers
+1 After posting a wanted post for an X-Lite stem @Walterscot came up trumps with the very thing I was looking for. No messing around, First-Class communication and a pleasure to deal with.
As above. If anyone is hiding one in their potting shed or somewhere less exotic, I would love to take it out of its misery and slide it into my gaping greasy seat tube.
Hi all.
I'm looking for a clean(ish) X-Lite stem for my Pace F2. 1" or 1"1/8, whatever you've got, though Blue anno or raw would be preferable to negate the need for any unnecessary stripping at my time of life.
Re:
It’s not Ebay..
Somebody offered you a very generous £1100 and you cannot confirm or deny them this wheel because you’d sooner use their offer to screw another few quid out of it.
I’d have pulled the plug on any offer and moved on.
Re: Re:
I had kind of put it out there looking for the answer myself. I have seen a few in a definite blue on bikes that was different to the turquoise but was never sure if folk had had them refinished, or special orders maybe as I didn’t think there was a turquoise and a blue option. Just...
Re: Re:
Hey dude,
I had seen your sale thread and gone back and forth with nearly pm’ing. Nearly convinced myself but turquoise just ain’t blue, and it would be a shame to polish it to bare metal when somebody else could enjoy it as is.
As above preferably blue, silver or black if Ringle with some rise. Club Roost I-Beam doesn’t need to be that great aesthetically.
Not looking for perfection, just no damage or knackered threads.
Cheers
Re:
Just buy it if it’s cheap enough to give you what you need although it seems a shame to cannibalise a nice bicycle that could be enjoyed as is. Won’t be worth as much once you’ve taken the goodness from it, so it’s neither here nor there when sold frame only or with whatever parts you’ve...
Re:
These go for good money if functional and without damage. Certainly more than a couple of hundred if it’s not been botched together with duff parts.
There is one on FB which may or may not be overpriced.
