So it turns out that BETD sent me the cranks with the wrong spider on, which is why the chainring rubs. They've promised to sort it and I'm not going mad. Happy days! 😁😂

Yeah as I'm getting older and less supple, narrow, straight bars are a challenge. 😂

I can't as the spider is for a single ring. Only position is as is. 😩

No I don't like them either. Might have to change for straight, silver ones. 🤔

A few more bits fitted. Don't like the blue bars as they don't match the other blue bits, so they'll have to go. Otherwise pretty happy so far! The bottom bracket is frying my brain though! BETD said I needed a 118mmone, but that was too short (chainring touches the rear stay) Got a 122mm one...

I have a silver USE post in 27.0. It's in good condition, but has been cut to about 300mm.

Great thanks. The Shimano must be too short then, so I'll just get a longer version of that BB as it goes really easily into the frame. I think the RPM one must just be crap. BB number 3 on the way. 😩😂

Just checked and the cranks are JIS taper, so maybe the Shimano BB is ISO. 😩😩😩😂

OK thanks. I think the RPM one would be wrong even if I could fit it. Almost certain that BETD will be making the RS7 cranks to ISO standard. I've never had a problem with them on a standard shimano BB in the past. My god I just wish bike and component companies could agree on some actual...

Says 24 on the BB. Perhaps it is just badly made. 😂
