First ride today and they took about 2 minutes to get used to. Actually really easy and intuitive to use. 😊

You just need to order the long pull version and then they do v brakes without any additional gizmos. Work really well, feels very crisp. As you say, not cheap, but a nice bit of engineering and work well.

Fitted some maxxis street Amber wall tyres. Next step are some Redshift drop bars and Gevenalle GX shifters to turn it into a byway thrasher. I used to hate the look of drops on an MTB, but having tried to sell "as is" with no luck, I've decided to keep and thrash it. 😁

Since nobody wants to buy it, I'm changing into a 26" gravel bike. Watch this space.
