Nothing too exciting other than the owner didn't want to sell the bike but he would trade it for the right 2 door 57 Chevy.... so for the last year I've been trolling ebay for the right chevy and finally found it.

I am excited to share a holy grail that took us nearly 3 years to secure from gentleman in Germany. This piece of Colorado racing history is now on display here in our museum. Note I had to find / buy and ship a 1957 Chevy to Germany to complete this unique transaction...

That thread is about this exact bike. It was purchased directly from Tinker. Note the photograph of him with the bike when we picked it up from him at this year's Keyesville Classic. His friend was helping him sell it on FB. The bike had been in Tinker's sister's garage.
