Frame is just back from the powder coaters and I have a bit of paint in my threads. Does anybody know what size of tap I need to clean out the threads? American frame so I'm guessing imperial. I've seen somewhere it's 5/16" X 18tpi. Does this sound right? Cheers

Might be worth mentioning that these prices don't include import tax etc etc as the seller lives in Hungary I believe.

It's definitely a 29.5. Stamped on the original seatpost clear as day. Will give a 29.4 a go.

Got a Marin Eldridge and the original post is 29.5. has anyone ever replaced it and used a 29.4 instead?

Thank you and not at all. It's a Titanium bike with blue trimmings. Might not be to everyone's taste so I fully understand the frame only question.

I've ridden an Eldridge of that size and it's def too small regardless of how much I didn't want it to be. Got a 19"(20.5") Eldridge in my shed/temporary spray hut getting sorted out now as a result.

That is very nice. Jumped into the thread when I saw the title but I'm hunting for the next size up.
