Probably around that. Maybe a little more for the frame £300’frame and £70 forks. It means you’ve paid £500’for a XTR groups and wheel which is far from cheap though. I doubt it will sell. But at a little less I’d buy it to split.

I’m on the fench whether to buy it . I don’t want the frame or fork , only a few XTR bits. whats the frame worth is the magic question though

I personally like the red burgundy metallic of 96 too. But I’ve too many red bikes and feel it would just blend in too much. most of my bikes are actually silver or bare (Ti or alloy) as I like the plain understated look. But something in me says a Hot should be a wild colour

What colours would you do one in?

It’s pretty awesome. I know this is silly , (blue and red is my favourite colours) but I’ve lots of bikes in those colours. But nothing in yellow or green. So it kinda seems right to go Rasta on this

Is this not the 96 decal?

I much prefer the traditional scheme to that. I also prefer this decal style too. Did they do this colour with the 96 decal style?

I’ve kinda made a decision. I want to go with the Rasta flame scheme in gloss. However …. Do I follow the normal colour scheme or reverse the colours to make it a bit different?

Not sure to be honest as I haven’t tried.

To be fair the term “refurbished” is thrown around a lot so I do understand it. To get around your issue “in need of attention”. It’s similar to not being able to use the word Kevlar when listing a saddle. Just get around it.

Yep that’s just the main tubes which are made in USA.

It’ll take less than a hour and will look like new. Just use a grey scotchpad

Have I missed the pic of the made in USA decal? 1999 was the last year of USA production 2000 onwards were made in Taiwan apart from a few exceptions Yours is made in Taiwan. Value wise is not much as 2000 onwards don’t really have much following

Ti is easy to restore If the fork lowers have a hole you can easily source another set of lowers if the rest is good
