There are 2 types, one goes when the small cogg is really small (11 teeth), another when the small cogg is bigger (12 or 13 ). It's just becasue the small lockring is too small to thread on 12 or 13 teeth coog , that have bigger inside diameter

I'd look for the initial of the rider, the fame number for that rider, and the number of frames made that season for example, but for sure anyone with more expertise can better say. Question is, did Pegoretti build Banesto bikes others than for the riders ?

Could be, as long as tubbing is from Columbus... Looks similar to a nivacrome EL fork (Bianchi,...), but welds are not looking good really. I would weight it, and if around 650g chances are it's a good fork anyhow. Hope it helps
