    Fat Chance Kickstarter

Re: Re: 100% I can't even say how much I hate that little bend. It makes me crazy that there are frames that don't need this, but have it because all the other frames have it.

Kona Explosif Pro 1992 by Dimoni

My brother had one. It worked in a straight line, more or less, but if you turned a corner, it was a nightmare. No matter how much you cranked up the preload on the shock, the front wheel was just all over the place.

centrelock adapter for 6 bolt rotor

I don't think I've seen the type 2 you've described. I bought a set of the type 1 off ebay, and tried to use them on an XTR M965 wheel but they didn't work. The rotor sat too far outboard of the wheel, and it was impossible to get the caliper to line up. I'm pretty sure the issue was the odd...

Re: Home Grown Factory FS with Sweet Spot Technology I would have to guess that Schwinns were never sold in Europe, because you just don't see them here. I haven't been on this forum for that long, but I have been through all 250 pages of reader's rides, and Schwinn is rare like Bridgestone...

Name that suspension part... Help?? Springs, Elastomers,...

That last piece - CARBON FIBER S/T UPGADE KIT - I think that's a reinforcement for the steerer tube on certain Manitou models. I had X-Vert Super on a Specialized Enduro, and I remember getting a plug just like that (it was a safety thing) and I had to jam it in the steerer tube. Looking back...

Yup - that's Procycle. They also own Oryx, Balfa, CCM, Miele, and others. Wikipedia says Peugeot production was ceased in Canada in '01.

    Chuck CR-HT

Awesome. I always liked these. I used to live with a guy that had one - it broke at the dropout. I think they were (partly anyway) wiped out by a strike at the aluminum smelters that supplied them.
