Re: Shimano MT 81 ( I think ) now replaced with MT9, perfect for hike ya bike to top of mountain then blast back down , really comfy and reasonably warm , current pair about 5 years old now and done a lot of miles on foot in them .

Re: I’m afraid I only took two pics when we stopped for lunch , you won’t want to see the bikes (Boardman, calibre, haibike and my Rocket ) all full bounce with disc brakes and one even had a leccy motor, fantastic if brutal both down and up as it always is , mainly dry and a lot more loose...

We are sticking with Sunday as the weather looks better , bring your own packed lunch and beer as we'll be stopping for a picnic rather than using the packed and maybe not open cafe hut , the views will be better too where we stop . Get those bikes ready and see you all on Sunday .

Re: Right guys and any secret gals it's this weekend so I need some definite names and numbers now so who is coming ? I've had a request from 1 rider up North if it's possible to move it forward to Saturday , I don't have a problem but if it causes an issue for others then it stays as Sunday...

Have a look and ENVE wheels set up tubeless , you may notice that even there fancy soooper expensive carbon jobbies have gorilla tape on them , it tends to stick better , is more flexible and is very strong, hence why it's used , oh and as heresy I've been running my back wheel with cheapo...

Yorkshire area group is having a wee jaunt over Cutgate at the back end of September , hopefully it will stay dry . Details here viewtopic.php?f=31&t=417014

After various discussions at the weekender it was decided to do Cutgate hopefully before the weather turns and it becomes a bog . Classic North peaks riding with flowing single track , steady climbs , brutal climbs and awesome descents .
