Big thanks to all that turned up to ride one of Verns classic routes, the weather proved interesting and the cake shop is still waiting to reopen, well done to all that managed the route especially the couple that struggled a bit on the last climb but did it .

Sorry to let people know that Vern (Kaya and our area coordinator) passed away earlier this evening after a couple of years fighting cancer . Those that met him will miss him and those that didn't have missed an experience . He'll be organising rides in good weather from now on .

If I'm considering riding a 93 Diablo with no brakes it must be a gentle trundle , it's mainly flat and very non techy could probably be comfortably ridden on a road bike .

Nice easy and very retro friendly social ride this month , very flat too . Meet point is WF3 3JG opposite Morgans bodyshop . Meet at 10 for 10.30 start . Food stop at middish way point so bring some dosh . This is a very easy , steady social ride and is a perfect chance for old friends to meet...

Meet at Square Corner Osmotherley at 10 for riding at 10.30 , lunch stop about 3/4 distance , mostly high and exposed so bring suitable clothing , retro friendly but not compulsory, total distance is just over 20 miles .
