I never really understood how much difference a dropper could make until I mounted one myself on a modern hardtail. It instantly converts my mountainbike into BMX :-)

It’s a repaint by kleinspainted. Owner says it is a Medium Large, but frame number is 833Y1M. Would that not make it a Medium?
It’s just that everyone wants to get rid of their money at the moment. Covid times, government spent billions to protect everyone’s job, nobody has been spending on holidays, travel, restaurants. People are overloaded with created currency.
Some more parts came around. Stem, steerer and brake levers are there, so the cockpit is complete. Practically, I only need wheels, brake cable stop and brakes to be able to start building up.
I have a set, but I've reserved it for this bike. I think they turn up on eBay once and a while. I feel it's more difficult to find a good set of Ritchey brakes that are complete and not scruffy.
A while ago I got hold of this frameset here on this great forum and I've very slowly been collecting parts and ideas on how to build up this beautiful bike. I've always wanted a classic Ritchey mountainbike, but as you know good ones are quite hard to find. And even if they are for sale...
