    They look good, but if the stated weight (365g!) is accurate, I reckon they're probably steel. Having said that, the blobby welds look more like aluminium ... Anyone volunteer to be guinea pig?

    The toptube is clearly slimmer than the downtube. That rules out the Kilauea, so I guess it's one of the '94 Explosifs after all.     It gets weirder! So it looks as though there are three variations of the '94 Explosif around: the "normal" version with a ribbed Tange Ultimate Ultrastrong downtube and smooth Ultralight toptube, another variation with a smooth Ultralight toptube and a smooth (presumably Ultralight) downtube...
