That's a '93, and in very nice condition. It's hard to tell from such a small picture, but that looks like a sealed (cartridge) bottom bracket already. If it needs replacing, the shell is probably 73mm. I'm 6' 1" on a good day, and I ride a 19" '92 Stumpjumper Comp. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=53086...

Re: Tiny 97 Kona Kilauea I don't know how to interpret that serial number. The dropouts and fork length say '92-'93. The only year the Kilauea used that "squashed" seat tube was '92. The fork looks like the cheaper single-butted version (the dropouts are welded on, rather than cast and brazed...

Re: Tiny 97 Kona Kilauea Where's Anthony when you need him? CTK's bike has a squashed (not flare-butted) seat tube bottom end and a slim, straight (not tapered) top tube, so it's not Columbus Cyber or Tange Prestige Concept. I reckon it's either a '92 Kilauea or maybe a '93 Cinder Cone!

Might it be a BMX standard 1" headset? The head tube is larger than normal for BSC 1", but smaller than 1 1/8", and the quill is also slightly slimmer than normal: https://www.sheldonbrown.com/cribsheet-headsets.html They were sometimes used in early or inexpensive MTBs. If it is a 1 1/8"...
