    Titec titanium flat bars

Time to clear some of my old but loved bits out of the garage... Here's a lovely pair of Titec titanium bars, 55.3cm wide. Two bits worth mentioning - the printed logos are a bit worn, and there's a slight crimp in one end from over=tightened bar ends. You can see both in the photos...

The one and only "HOW MUCH IS MY xyz WORTH" thread

*deep intake of breath* I always swore I'd never sell this one, but due to a pesky one-in-one-out arrangement I've got to decide between this and another (modern) bike. The frame's a classic - it was built by one of the framebuilders at Roberts for himself in '91(ish), as one of the...

Bike of The Year 2012 - Vote Now!

No fair! I'm totally split between the lump-in-the-throat generated by the JMC replica Hardisty and the Formula One, which brings back huge memories from borrowing one from the factory for a Gorrick race back in 1994. I think it's got to be the F1.

Wanted: Time cleat to look three bolt adapters

Thanks so much. In the end, I bought a pair of second hand RXS pedals, and seeing how much closer to the axle my foot is now, I'm glad I did - pedal technology's come a long way in the last 15 years! If it was to go on a period faithful steed then I might not be quite so happy.

Wanted: Time cleat to look three bolt adapters

This is a pretty long shot, but I'm looking for a pair of the adapter plates that will let me bolt the original Time two-part cleats onto modern shoes with the usual three bolt cleat fitting. Has anyone got a pair knocking about the bottom of their spares box, or bolted onto an old pair of...

Roberts rebuild - show me yours for inspiration

I had a Pace RC45 on mine (just sold it though, sorry) - but it was a 1 1/8" shimmed down to 1" - worked a dream.

    Formula 1 Mountain Bike

I was at the factory in 1994 and they had an F1 with a back end that was definitely DOGS BOLX - I know, because it had a small white sticker on the black tubes that said "DOGS BOLX" :) The wishbone seatstats were bonded onto the top of the seat tube, rather than bolting in the sides, like...

BoTM November 2010 Carbon Special - The Vote

Seeing a pic of that Formula One made me go a bit funny. I got to visit the factory a couple of times, and raced one once. I think I've still got one of their pink sweatshirts somewhere... Does anyone know what happened to the full suspension F1 painted with flames flying back from the front...

My Peugeot Teamline 1500 from 1997: Head tube detail, showing the bonding seams (and Evans Wandsworth sticker): Close-up of the top tube/seat tube junction, showing the mildly innovative recessed seat post binder bolt: It's not too clear in the photos, but the main tubes are carbon...

    1" Pace aheadstem

I ran a 1 1/8th" one with a shim on my 1" steerer Dogs Bolx for years with no ill-effects. @Jerky - how much for the gunmetal one you've got? I might be interested in another one.

    Roberts Dogs Bolx complete bike

That's rather lovely, although I would say that as I've also got a Dogs Bolx with the White Spider back end! Nice to know how much they're going for though.
