    Wheel spacing

I have a problem the other way around... I have a M732 with an axle for a 130mm frame, but need an axle for a 135mm frame... Perhaps swap ? About the dish: I had a 135mm wheel with a White Industries hub and had it narrowed down to 130mm... I didn't rebuild the wheel, I only had it re-centered...

WANTED: axle/spindle for XT M732 135mm rear hub

The title almost says it all... the axle/spindle has to be (about) 146mm. I only need the axle since it's gonna be used in a XT rear hub that is set up for a 130mm rear end... My Rocky needs it to be a 135mm. I looked at LBS's but I don't know where all of these have gone... Hopefully...

CONGRATULATIONS !!! Looking forward to the build thread... If you choose a re-spray, I hope you stick to the Milka color... Not for me to decide of course, but I really like the Milka-purple on these AMP Fats :D

December 2012 'Fat vs Klein vs Yeti Special' Vote Now!!

What a month... great bikes... hard to choose... I like the steel of the Fat's, the colors of a Klein and the progressive frame design of some Yeti's... ...so back to my 'older' preferences... a non-Shimano bike.. 8) Tigern's Adroit, it is !! ...just love the looks of that Klein with the...

Toxik Harold's annual Cruiser Ride and Bike show

Quite an old thread, but I was looking around for some 'classic' steel frame and came acros this... The model posted by walleater is a Billy B. I don't think RM made more than this one.... or they all look exactly the same.

    Bike frame sizes and fit

I agree on that... I'm 6 feet tall and prefer an effective toptube of 23" to 23.5" so the size of my bikes vary (in my case) between 16" (for my AMP) to 19" (for my Specialized).

    Tune Canti's

I had some of these BITD... These were announced in the 1994 catalog, but as I remember they were for sale in 1995 (and only for a few years, surpassed by V-brakes). In the catalog you can read (in German) that the rear brakes would be different... When the brakes came in the (very few)...

which part has impressed you most over the years?

The Tune MAG170 hub... Don't know what year it came out 1996 or 1998... but when I got it... pfffwaaah.... ceramic bearings, titanium tooth inside, carbon axle... Ultra high-end BITD... Luckily I got it straight from Uli Fahl himself.. so it 'only' set me back about 300 Deutch Mark... the price...

Bikes that got you started in Mountain Biking.

My first MTB was a Giant Escaper.. newly bought in 1990. Half a year later I sold it and got myself a Specialized Rockhopper Comp 1990 upgraded tot completely Shimano XT and with a Tangé Switchblade.. A year later it became more serious and bought the Bridgestone MB1 frame of a friend (a new...

Tasty Paul Components Rear & front derailleur

 766 !? I was surprised I had to go up to 240 for a front mech while I 'only' payed 120 for the rear.. ...some pics of my green stuff on the hardly ongoing all-USA project...
