    Proflex 752 hack build

Well it protected the jockey wheels nicely! (Another build thread that is fun to follow, great.)

Mantis XCR-EC frame, NOS Haro fluoro frame, international shipping available

Same for me. Unfortunately, always glad to see a fluoro Haro.

    Koga Miyata Ridge Runner (1986)

Great project! Miyatas are nice, and this is the best era, will follow progress. (Just that the bottom bracket shell is probably 73mm or something really unusual? As usually 70mm would be ITA threaded with bigger diameter of the cups.)

    Diamond Back Axis

Yep, sure not TT, and this stem just reminded me of MS Racing I grabbed a month ago that had it set the exactly same way, as if it was a 20mm stem effectively, made the bike pretty unrideable till I changed the stem. Axis is supernice anytime though! Oh and I love the way they attached the M095...

    Scott catalogues...

There is one online here: https://www.scottmtb.cz/_data/scott-a-katalogy/katalog-scott-1994.pdf Also, thanks Thias for this, I have been searching for a pre-1990 catalog for ages and now I finally see this 1989 one. :))

Poorly listed Gary Fisher £300 up north

That's clean, still too expensive I would say.

    Sintesi wing pro

From what I can see there, it is that the FD is mounted on the thing that is attached to the right side bottom bracket cup. The thing is a part of the FD (the e-type one), not the frame. You can have e-type FDs on any frame, here it is nice that there are no signs of regular FD being there...

    Sintesi wing pro

The FD mounting is "e-type" front derailleur, not a feature of the frame. I had some (maybe Alivio) that I found quite difficult to set up years ago. Anyway, nice looking frame, rest of the build is mid-range, I would agree with price suggested above (even though my market differs from Swiss/UK...

    Identify this frame

I used to ride a Bitish Eagle with same details, same canti bridge and basically everything. Only that it was made of Reynolds 501. Now what was its name... Inferno? Suppose this is a higher level British Eagle from about the same era (1989? 1990?).

    90's Scott

I believe it is 1990 model, when they had the model name on forks. (actually I can imagine it being cheaper, it is nice, but still an entry model)

Options for 26" rigid disc fork w/ 1" steerer? Custom?

There are probably more options (and I never really checked for forks), but been following Stridsland and wondering, if the bikepacking fork he was planning is already out there (probably not yet, but was intended to be out already). That would be 1" and 1 1/8" and disc/rim brakes, with some...

Wanted 2004/5/6 Scott catalogue or brochure scan pdf

Hello, I have posted this elsewhere, should cover all 1990-2006 Scott catalogs. :) https://www.scottmtb.cz/znacka-scott/scott-a-katalogy/

    Retrobike Touring.

Sorry nothing about cooking set ups, just a couple of random pics. The GT got stolen, so now we use a 28" Scott instead.

    Reta frame Portsmouth

Reta is a 90s Czech product, called after its founder, REné TAller. It has some appeal for some people, yeah the top tube on this model is nice. Anyway, it never used nice tubes and overall they were low level. There were quite many producers of rather cheap bikes in the 90s here. Not sure if it...

Scott USA Mountain Bike Catalogue 1991

That's nice! and just in case anyone would be searching for German/Austrian Scott catalogs, there are 1990-2006 here: https://www.scottmtb.cz/znacka-scott/scott-a-katalogy/ even though they seem to be missing the cool pictures and accessories and such .)

    Mer mer mer mer MERCIAN!!

It probably rides... well, specifically or at least different from 90s mtbs. Anyway, it seems the current owner really bought it a couple of months ago, started a build thread on lfgss 2 months ago with the intention of making it lighter and more modern, but realised it is too nice to rebuild.

    Info on 1980's mercier mtb

I don't know about Mercier MTBs either. Anyway, if I exclude that decal, there is nothing suggesting it would be a decent bike. All components are bottom of the range and the frame itself is nothing nice, the rear "brake bridge" is associated with bottom of the range bikes from companies that...

I'm (kind of) new to this and need advice please

The quite likely issue might be old grease sticking in the shifters. Then it seems it is not pulling the cables when attempting to shift. Quick fix for that is pouring WD40 or something like that inside and trying to shift to flush the old grease out. Either way disconnect the cables, or just...

    Another mystery

Lugs, rear brake bridge and cable guides are about the same as British Eagle (Inferno? Not sure about model, was Reynolds 500 and equipped with 200GS) I had, but the colour scheme is a totally different concept. Also chainstays look a bit different, hard to tell from these pictures.
