9 Speed Veloce Poor Shifting Question?

I have installed the new g springs, unfortunately shifting problems still exist on the smaller cogs! The shifter definitely feels crisper in each position both with thumb lever and paddle,so I'm starting to wonder if it's the rear mech.

I have a mid 90's Colnago Super with Campy 9 speed Veloce groupset. The right hand ergo shifter shifts up and down the cassette, but skips over the second and third cog and the paddle shifter feels a little vague and spongy. I have stripped the shifter and inspected all the component parts and...

    RR Sprint Sizing?

I think you are right there is no reference in the old catalogue to a choice of top tube lengths just three basic sizes, 21'' being the smallest. Of course,in those days bike fit was a fairly alien concept, one just adjusted the height of the saddle and off you went!lol

To Cold Set A Frame Or Not?

Thanks for the replies. It will be 8 speed,so I'll see as suggested how it fits and performs, but do accept cold setting is probably the best way of dealing with a wider hub.

To Cold Set A Frame Or Not?

Thanks for the reply.Logically because it's such a small difference it would seem to me to be unnecessary, too, but I thought I'd ask for some opinions anyway.

To Cold Set A Frame Or Not?

Is it worthwhile or unnecessary to cold set a frame when going from 126mm to 130mm hub spacing?
