I bought one of these it arrived today, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Token-Carbon ... xygPtSsXp3 but my Xenon cranks do not seem to sit far enough on to the spindle with hand pressure alone? I have not tried drawing them on with the crank bolts for fear of stretching them. Did I buy the wrong...

I switched the lever over to index mode and was surprised to find the indexing up and down the cassette while far from perfect nevertheless usable and predictable.This with the Helicomatic hub and Golden Arrow rear mech. I believe the rear dropout spacing on my RRS is 120mm what wheel options...

That's interesting.I have replaced the original levers with Exage 600 7 speed levers,but use the right hand shifter on friction only I've never attempted to try to get it to index with the Maillard cassette. Is indexing an early Sprint's Maillard cassette possible with a suitable shifter?

I have a 21'' frame 1983 RRS with lots of gold anodising it's a nice bike and very smooth to ride. I find gear changing to be very smooth and quiet,but if I don't move the gear lever quite far enough the chain will ride up and sit on top of a cog without fully engaging and traction becomes...

After fitting the new correct jockey wheels shifting had not noticeably improved so I took the bike to my LBS.The hanger I'm told and derailleur are perfectly aligned and the derailleur is without any play in the pivots.The feeling was by the guy that the fault lies in the shifter,if this is so...

Thanks for the link.I'm pretty certain looking at my cassette that all the spacers are the same size.I will be fitting the correct jockey wheels tomorrow and I'll see where that leaves me.If shifting is till poor then it may have to go to my LBS where I'll get the hanger checked for correct...

Not sure it is assembled correctly but can remove it and reassemble.In which order of thickness are the spacers assembled between which cogs?

Cable inner is new the outers are the original Campagnolo,but are in excellent condition.The jockey wheels are Campagnolo,but of incorrect width for 9 speed Veloce I have the correct 8.8mm width ones on the way to me.I'll have another fiddle with it in a little while and inspect the outer cable...

Yes, I have replaced both the spring carrier and the g springs,but as said no matter what I try cannot get it to index properly on the smaller cogs.
