    Mystery and Unidentified Parts

Thank you sir! I did get a reply from posting in the road bike section which doubly confirms it. Plus a review with pictures of the fork with that specific (older?) graphics. It was those pesky decals that kept throwing me off the scent. So, now I have a decent everlasting steel touring...

The only one I have at present is this modern carbon ControlTech. I would certainly love a zeroweld though.

Until an hour ago, I didn't know these existed. Now I have this exact pair. Nice day. 👍

Help identifying newish touring forks please.

Hi I found these whilst I was working at the Edinburgh Bike Station for a year, between 2016 and '17. They'd been donated so I don't know anything else but the stats: Steel, regular 100mm spacing, axle to crown = 400mm, 235mm 1&1/8" unthreaded steerer, 913g with star nut already fitted...

    Mystery and Unidentified Parts

Hi. Apologies for these not being retro but it's driving me mad trying to find out who makes them. Haven't seen the logo before and keep getting 'croix de fer' stuck in my head as they're steel and it could be a black cross...but no. Looks to be for touring with the pannier bosses, 100mm...

    Different Retro-Titanium forks by Vigmos

Thank you! I wonder...have you ever owned a pair of sealed ones and applied Nukeproof decals to the top of the legs? I could post some photos of them if you didn't mind...it seems you know more about them than anyone else I've talked to yet. Could I also ask, just so I understand properly...

    Different Retro-Titanium forks by Vigmos

Hi man! 🤙 I have a pair of these Vigmos ones...I think. Have any of yours got a sealed steerer tube at the bottom? Thanks, Andrew.

Is that the official collective noun, and if so - does it only apply to retro bikes? I'm guessing that a collection of modern toss bikes would be a clusterf*ck?

There are some lovely colours in those... Everything seems so grey/pastel nowadays in comparison. I'm colour blind, (part of my autism) and I kinda need this level of intensity and brightness to register stuff properly. 🤙

Hey man! I'm very curious to know if this is a titanium frame? 🤙 Edit: Oh - and the gear ratio would be interesting for me to know too, if you don't mind? I'm almost ready to start on mine...🤞

    Al's feedback thread

Absolutely Fantastic! I dropped one of my silly comments regarding a Ritchey varsity jacket in one of al's photos. A week later, and I'm now wearing said jacket! Can't quite believe my luck and this guy's generosity. I think I owe you one for this man... Definitely the top purchase of this year...
