Wasn't the FD-M953 the part number for exactly what you're after. The low pivot M950 series wore really quickly too and you'd struggle to get on the inner ring without some very difficult fettling. M953 didn't have this problem, providing your frame design has the room.

On a six-pack BB? IIRC they should self extract. The thread in the crank and the thread in the BB is a different pitch, so the arm should be jacked off the BB as you unscrew the titanium "grub-bolts".
