I have been speaking to a company called black cat custom paint, he's had good reviews and works looks good, so will check what he will do.
All original, complete resto as to 1999, just after some hubs then it's good to go.
Thanks again for the tip there didn’t know you could do that. Will check websites also then.
I am getting it a full respray and been looking about. Most in the UK range from £450 upwards.
Who’s the company you mentioned and where are they located? Thanks
Ah I see. I’m not using anything as this is all new to me so looking for advice also really.
The decals will be going under a clear coat of lacquer once painted just assumed they would be ok underneath
What is the reason inkjet doesn’t cut it? Been speaking to someone who uses it and says it works well. Just curious as I’d probably have to buy myself something to print them off
If it brings them out as I want then I don’t mind playing about. It’s more getting used to the programme and working it.
Will jump on this. May even buy a printer if I need too so I could sell some as they’re not commonly out there. Thank you
Ah that makes much more sense now. Thank you tons.
I’ll look at that today. Almost finished tracing the decals onto tracing paper so if needs be will draw black lines over the pencil in case it doesn’t see it once scanned in
Mate that looks very good indeed. Defo need to try it.
If I traced the decals can I upload to the computer and trace it via PowerPoint or similar? Then I’ll need to get this to print off, assuming you didn’t use vector?
Seems a load of options
Thank you very much. I’m reading all below and I will give it a try. Would like to create my own so I can do any future ones
Hears someone mention they need to be vector’d so they can get cut out via a tracing app. I’ve traced the decals so now need to get them to the computer
