1997 Kona Explosif - Mustard Color ID

Hey All, Recently I purchased a 1997 Explosif on impulse. I really didn't have a plan for it other than I want to buy it. It was sold at a fair price for the condition, so no surprise there. It is however pretty chipped up with more patina than I typically like in a bike. However it can...

What a great Idea! I love bicycle cockpit view photos! On my way to a vintage MTB meet, “Bring Out Yo Rad” where I met many great enthusiasts.

Nice to see some ETSX-70s representing! I’ll have to post mine too. I really like these ones with the Canadian Maple Leaf themes. Mine is the subliminal flames, while cool too, the Maple Leafs are more RMs identify to me. 😍 2002 ETSX-70, I assembled with M970 XTR, Revelation fork, Magura...

As the title is “Show Us Your Rocky Mountains”😅 My freshly washed Rocky Mountain apron that the dealer gifted me when I picked up my Wedge back in 1988. Still use it to this day.

Shimano M730 32.1mm Stack or Other Low Stack Height 1" HS?

Ha Ha, you know I just realized what you were suggesting.... A "cable hanger that clamps to the quill of the stem". For some reason I was thinking you meant one that clamped to the actual stem itself, I missed the part about the quill, and I thought that would look goofy.🥴 Now I realize I...

Is was wondering if you knew of a simple solution like a threaded sleeve that fits on and then tapers back to threaded upper, essentially lengthening the tube.

    All things Canadian.....

Oh man, my first real bike was a BRC. It was a beautiful metallic red Mustang bike with bananas seat, tall sissy bar, Highrise handlebars, light, horn, red line tiger paw tires, and 3 speed stick shift. I can still see and remember my dad bringing it home in his VW beetle 🥰 It was the talk...

It's all in the steer tube. Not bad at all, just tighter steering when rotated 360 degrees. Dekerf is going to have a look.

Your 88 is Blizzard is a beautifully build and bike! I remember back in the day one being along side my Wedge. I loved the clean look and stark contrast of the white and black. Well done!

The 94 is all plain white but depending on condition, it could see a repaint 😅

Tell me your plan IF you were to extend the steerer tube…. Good luck with the fitment.
