Very interesting suggestion ! Noodles (albeit not exactly in the same place) dropouts, tubes sizes and colour (the blue at least) look similar. But i don't have anything etched under BB shell (68mm btw) and mine looks welded rather than fillet brazed. My frame is indeed super light - weighs 1610...

Re: You may be right - it makes more sense than the hybrid frame idea. I never thought that a mud guard bridge could be used to accomodate a 700 wheel (brake and rim position match in this case wich is a notable coincidence). Thanks !
