I have a pair of Avid Elixr 1s and a pair of Avid Elixr 5s that I am looking to sell, they are in very good cosmetic condition and the hoses should be long enough but they will need a bleed. I'm looking for £15 for the 1s and £25 for the 5s.

The boy is getting bigger so put the standard wheels, bars and stem back on. Looks a lot better now.

I put on some race face carbon bars and an FWE stem. For the weight weenie's amongst us this bike is coming in at a fairly respectable 11.9kgs (26.2lbs).

Thanks for the suggestions, I think I have now solved the problem. I think I mentioned earlier on that the drop out was a bit tight so the hub axle wouldn't slide in. It also turned out it was slightly out of square too which moved the mech out. So a bit of tweaking with a crow bar...

Almost there, but it is fighting me all the way! I adjusted the length of the hoses and cables so they're tidy now. Bleeding the brakes will be the last job. The ISCG-05 guide mount arrived so could mount the chain guide and chain. The chain guide is a second hand MRP G2 which was a bit bent...

Very nice. I always liked the B1s from that era. There's a B1 Woodbumble that's been up for sale for over a year for not a lot of money. I'm put off as its in a sorry state and missing the rear axle and shock.

Also serviced the forks and put in a replacement cartridge as the adjustment screw was broken.

Pretty much done, just the brake hoses to sort out.
