Thanks! I like powerful brakes a lot and yes this setup is a bit grabby. But I'm used to that due to running either Shigura (Shimano brake lever, Magura caliper) or Saint 4pot disc brake calipers on most of my other bikes. This setup is consistent and powerful. Nothing more to want from them...

Did some more fine-tuning.

Running those beautiful Suntour brake levers, I've never bothered to get the correct ferrules. I've simply wrapped tape around the brake line end caps. And it started bothering me lately as the tape frayed and is looking miserable. But not any longer...hopefully. Thank science there is 3D...

I think you are correct. This one used this exact size seatpost.

I must have posted the red Hügi hubs I got for this bike at some point...I've now got a few sets of Araya RM-20 rims to build a new wheelset for this thing and have replacements, just in case. There is not much wrong with the M231s, but they do seem a little flimsy. I tend to go easy on them...

Finally had a chance to take at least a little care of this thing. It had some nasty creaks in the drivetrain last time I rode it. Which was some time in late 2022… So I took it apart, cleaned all the bits I, applied some grease where necessary and threw it back together. I‘ll need to ride...

Thanks! I grew up riding bikes with trigger style shifters. So doing the shifting under the bars makes more sense to me. It's a bit of a learning curve to get accustomed to the switched sides for front/rear shifting, but I like it. It's different. And for that reason alone it's worth trying.
