    Peugeot, gold coloured, any good?

Hello, A Peugeot has come available near me and I was wondering if anyone could identify the model from the pictures and whether or not it is a decent bike. It is for sale for £120. Thanks a lot.

Gap between crown race and forks

Re: So what I'm trying to find out is what is the worst case scenario if I left it with the gap and if it really must be flush then is there anything I can do other than buying a new headset? Thanks

Gap between crown race and forks

Re: Hi again, this is the gap I'm talking about and here is another view of the crown race It's a shimano 600 headset I believe. The steerer tube is pretty much free of dirt and grit as I gave it a good clean before hand. I've been pressing it on using the pvc pipe, hammer and blood...

Re: I have tried another seat post in their and it fits well. I think I'll buy a wider one. There seem to be plenty available that will do the job. My Pinarello binder bolt has snapped so I've been using a different one. Does anyone know of a good source for the original Pinarello seat post...

    Strange Pinarello seat post issue

Hello, I recently bought an old Pinarello Montello and found the seat post to be stuck in the frame. Through the application of oil and a lot of brute force I managed to get it loose. As it came out a small, broken metal ring which had been on the seat post fell off. I cleaned the muck and...

    Decal identification

Hello, I have recently bought an old steel Pinarello which I am intending to restore. Im looking for replacements for the decals as they are in a very sorry state but am having trouble knowing where to look. The Pinarello letters on the down tube are black with a gold outline. Most of the...
