If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the tyres? I'm struggling to rationalise the current RRP on them, with very few bargains to be had on them yet, being so new on the market.

What about a slice of inner tube, if we're going for a stretchy ring that needs applied before shifters/brake levers?

Do I spy the new Schwalbe Al Grounders on this? I love the look of them, thinking of buying some for my Kona unit build, for a Moto dualsport/adventure look. How do you find them? A fine choice of handlebar too, I hope more brands introduce more klunker bars to bring the price down a bit.

I haven't had many opportunities to get out on it, but I'm enjoying it so far. How much are you after for a geared drop out? I would be interested in opening up more possibilities.

That's definitely not a feature, on any tyre. Looks like it's been run when flat, damaging the sidewalls.

Coming at this drop bar lever feel problem from a different angle: have you guys seen the Surly Corner bar? It lets you use a flat bar lever and shifter before changing groupset if you're trying out drop bars, but also means you don't need drop bar levers with your mechanical disk brakes on...

The sun shone for a few minutes today, so I got some pictures of the 'completed' build. I have an XT rear derailleur awaiting a new cage that will eventually go on this, and when I get a nice bling wheelset for my Orange Stage Five, the raceface wheels from the orange will go on this.

I'm not sure about a recumbent, but I would take a guess and say, the same applies, just rotated back by 90°, so a spirit level through the knee and pedal axle. Or that a recumbent being what it is, requires sacrificing the perfect position for the needs of a recumbent rider. We are all...
