    1989 Orange Clockwork complete

Don't recall seeing one with downtube cabling for rear mech before. @Cheshire1980 @brocklanders023 @Gavo Is that a particularly early one?

    Orange P7 Really?

    Aye, redecaled without any doubt.

    Orange P7 Really?

Feedback from Orange is that it 'looks' like an early Orange (not a Tushingham) redecaled as a P7. Doesn't mean it is though I guess.

All quiet on the Western Front

I'm still having fun with old bikes with a good handful to service & similar amount to build. Nothing high end but enjoyable fettling nonetheless followed by the satisfaction of riding them. I have most of the parts in to do them. Time is the killer for me. Or more accurately time...

    Mudguards....do you use them ?

Wrong fit for my sit bones & position. I've got my user saddles dialled in.

    Mudguards....do you use them ?

Pretty good. Better than the USE one on it before which is now knackered. The bike is just shy of 50lb so you feel every rut & pothole. I got it 2nd hand here & updated the 2 elastomers for my weight. I'm thinking of replacing one with one of the spongier elastomers that came with it to see...

    Mudguards....do you use them ?

These have proved to be rock solid. No rattle at all. I got a pair cheap on ebay so got them for the ebike. I didn't need the rear as I have a mtb one cable tied to the rack. I used a cut off from the spare rear to extend the front to give more protection for the motor.

Orange Clockwork with interesting frame number

Think there's very few would be interested in exactly what order their bike came off the production line, From around 92 the first letter was the plant/factory (eg A for A-Pro) followed by year & month so A211 would be an A-Pro build from Nov 1992. The rest of the number is likely to be the...
