I use Parcel Force pick up all the time..bear in mind if you are thinking of dropping off, a lot of Post offices may decline something as big as a bike box due to available space..health and safety blah blah etc

The cable hanger/yoke needs not to be touching the seat tube and the cables should actually cross on the other side of the seat tube..You’ll notice the cable routes on the plastic guide are at different levels so the cables don’t foul each other. 1990 Avalanche in Snowstorm..my second...

Mavic M6CD or M7CD would be my go to on an 89. M7 slightly heavier but bomb proof.
