They were a house brand for a bike shop in Toronto, Ontario called Silent Sports. They were nice bikes and really good value.
I always suspected they produced these bikes in part to get OEM pricing on components to sell aftermarket.
The extra bonus with the triple traps was since they were so much wider than others pedals it was really easy to catch them on the ground pedaling through a corner and send you flying off the bike.
From what I recall they had a line of higher quality parts that were still much cheaper than the boutique CNC brands. A tough sell, which is why they now have the separate TRP brand for higher end parts.
