Few more pics of the wheels on https://www.facebook.com/terrys.cycles
You'll also spot some wood sprints and harlequin bar taping. Soon will get some pics up of the 1951 Holdsworth (wood sprints are now on it) with osgear, 1963 curly Hetchins currently in progress and the Lipscombe when...
Re:
Pretty sure that's the wheels I built few weeks back. Ringle purple hubs, Sunset rims, snowflaked with varying nipple colours to match the shade of the rim at that point, nice!
Yes, GT Quatrefoil.
Takes 700D wheels/tyres originally which are near impossible to get. Good news is 650B is only 3mm smaller diameter so rim brakes should still work.
If true prototype, then 1 of only 3 sets (apparently) from 1984. Could very easily be one of the 1st generation sets (1986) which are near identical.
Personally a big fan of the 3rd generation and still use them on my Colnago.
A few bits (XT, Klein, Suntour, Rock Shox, etc.) on the bay.
