    1890 Headshock 69er

Ok, so technically it's 30" front and 28" rear, but you get the idea. 1/2" travel fork and super springy saddle giving luxurious comfort while ripping across dirt tracks and cobbles at 10mph or thereabouts. Early cycle computer, yes, really! (on L/H front wheelnut) Weight as you see it...

not retro but seems good value?

Don't think that's even a specialized, let alone an S-Works. I'm a specialized dealer and that looks more like a tarted up car accessory shop brand than any specialized I've seen.

    Cool Carbon (DE)

I own number 2 (of 6 built) Burrows ratcatcher recumbent (retro-ish as early '80's) that runs an identical system (monostay between cassette and wheel) and on that the extra arm is to mount the derailleur on (see windcheetah pic below for similar setup). Could be similar here. On that the...

**UPDATED 11.12.07** Proper clearout I tell thee.

Just me maybe, but I'm happier with it being kept as original as possible. (Unless you were being sarcastic about the abomination that was the anniversry edition last year, in which case sorry I missed it!!!)

    GREEN Chainrings

Chatting with the guys at HOPE they said green is the hardest by far to get consistent. They've been working on it for 18months and will eventually (they hope) be giving a green option next year. However much I've asked they seem unwilling to chuck a few of my bits in their ano tank though.

    My C16r downhill rig!!??

Bikes ok, but what i really like is the bug. Having a '67 Karmann Cabrio (2.1 twin IDA) and a '59 Split (westfalia with more subtle 30hp 1200) I appreciate the style.

    Breezer Storm

It could be I have Breezer catalogues from 93 to 98 and in 97 the storm WAS alloy. 96 and earlier plus 98 were all cro moly, so this was a one year anly venture into alloy for the storm.
