mid 90's saracen full sus thing ?

I don't have space for another bike, but that rear disc mount looks similar to the one on trek VT etc. If it is I have an adapter to make an IS mount caliper fit if the buyer wants it.

    respray in bristol?

2nd both of the above (although ABC did dent a frame of mine once as they're more used to bed frames and industrial work). Another worth trying is http://www.griffsmotorcycleservices.com/1021/frames.php Does a superb job (single colour) for a little more than ABC (about £45ish I think) but...

Balance 450 fs (couple of new bits fitted)

liking that. Personally I'd go for 3DV canti's on that if you can find nice ones (but then I seem to be in the minority not liking maguras). That might be a good excuse to build another bike around the maguras and bar/stem taken off this though.

    Problems fitting XTR M952 cranks...

XTR was indeed unique - to MTB. It was the same spline as road octalink though, so a road triple BB may work fine.

Help: Really, Really Stuck Crank Bolt

Agree that this is the best method. Try some welders heat sink putty on the crank arm to try and limit any heat damage (melting) of the alloy. http://www.muggyweld.com/coolblue.html

Balance 450 fs (couple of new bits fitted)

+1 for sorting the rear sus. It's the whole point of this bike in my opinion so it has to be done, however long it takes. As an example, when I got my boulder the rear shock wasn't great. After several attempts it is now rebuilt with adjustable damping, etc and works great. The bike also...

    MMMMMMMMORATI Ti bars.

I was interested when they were still sub £100. I may have gone to £150 max, but they're just silly now.

    MMMMMMMMORATI Ti bars.

Damn, I'd hoped no-one had spotted these. I'm going for them but not fussed about the Hyperends, so if I win they'll be up for grabs.

Carbon Rigid forks. Trade for front disc?

Provided steerer length and diameter are ok, I have a new, boxed hope mono mini (black) front brake. It's surplus due to not having a matching rear and having just sorted some Hope XC4's for the project.

    Need help identifying Hope brakes

Better still, get a set of minis or M4s to improve power and let me have the XC4's. Not the most powerful brakes by a long way, but they'd be nice on my Morati.

LOTUS AEROTROPE MOUNTAIN BIKE for Sale

Would that be referring to the bike designed by Mike Burrows in the '80's which Boardman rode in the 1992 Olympics? If so, either the dates are off or it was inspired by, rather than leading up to the Olympic bike. Must admit, I'd also be more tempted as frame only due to the kit fitted...

    On-one/Lynskey Ti 456

We've had 2 of these through the shop. Neither was straight, faced, or particularly light. If you fancy an on one, buy the steel one. If you fancy Ti, buy something else.
