A few Tom Avon badged short wheelbase TT frames were about at the same time as Alf Engers (errr, and me) Very short rake forks and fag paper clearances quite Aende looking. The ones I came across were real beauties like this one :)

I think the regular campag front mech for a NR double would struggle with the 51-31 jump and catch the rear roller.?

Trying to remember but didn't the Suntour Ultra range have a special thinner chain so the cogs could be closer together?

Loads of frames looked like that BITD. Is the bottom bracket 70mm wide with an Italian thread ?

I think they did, road bike in TT Livery with lightweight paint and decal instead of head badge? SBDU would have done that OEM if requested I guess.

The SBDU TT bikes I came across BITD were run with a single chain wheel.....

I thought Special Lightweight had morphed into Pro by then? Same red decal
