For Sale 2x early Shimano Dura Ace 7100/200 groupsets

The 7100 rear mech doesn't belong with first gen DA so not on my shopping list. Titlist is the matching rear mech

Dave Russell - Back to Blue

Old freewheels on new chains seldom work. If all else fails, remove the cover for the bearings, remove the cogs and grip the body in a vice to remove.

Are you going to run mudguards, might wish to braze some eyes on the fork dropouts?

For Sale 2x early Shimano Dura Ace 7100/200 groupsets

As most on here know I'm a fan of the early Dura Ace, I'm just confused as to what is left for sale.

    1950s? Claud

Some of the kit is 70's but the frame, front changer, cranks, downtube shifter are older. Can't see a lot of detail on this cheap tablet though lol

    One for the Carlton buffs......

Had to pay quite a bit more for 25.5" inch framed carltons BITD. Maybe trying to recoup the original outlay.

Raleigh Gran Sport Campagnolo 1982 Vintage Bicycle

Looks in good nick, not sure about the price though. One of a number of bikes that came kitted out with Nuovo Gran Sport group that came out in 1978 I think.

Do the hoods look in the right position (classic bars)

BITD touring bars sort of rose up from the clamp area with the stem. The levers were tilted up and splayed out slightly. Usually accompanied by thick bar tape / padding. Edit This sort of thing but most manufacturers did them, GB were common...

    Lube in Campag Record hubs?

BITD people often swapped the clip covering the hole with world champion striped tape. Mind you we also filled in various details of cranks and stems with red paint lol Shimano clips were chrome and slotted, much prettier. I ran my bearings on WD40 to keep wheels spinning for TTs :)

    Mercian superlight 1968

    Nice. Its 100% Mercian Superlight.

Do the hoods look in the right position (classic bars)

Can't find the thread. The bars / levers look in the typical range to me, if all else fails I was taught to point the bottom of the bars at the rear brake bridge and align the bottom of the brake levers with the bottom of the bars. Campagnolo did an alignment tool which is fairly rare.

Dave Russell - Back to Blue

Light tourer / demi course from BITD. Typical kit for that too. Forks look newer than the frame. Neat looking shorelines to the lugs so far from shabby.

Do the hoods look in the right position (classic bars)

There's a thread on here about mounting classic bars / levers. It's on a Raleigh SBDU so I'll have a search....

Carlton Ten barn find, now more shiny

Nice :), there are a variety of spring and screw cable clips, the spring variety can be a bit scratchy so some tape on the frame underneath can help.

    Harry Quinn. £50!

Harry quinn sold his name and soul to Falcon, which is what this is. Later Harry bought his name back and set up frame building himself again.

    Wanted Downtube shifter boss

If looking for braze on would a company like Ceeway have stock. Just a little unsure what you want.

    Headset woes.

Maybe get a bike shop to chase the steerer threads?
