I have a KHS Montana Pro from the mid nineties that I need to sell on, True Temper OX IIRC. It was something of a lockdown project but I've not ridden it in anger since building it! It's a really nice spec, mostly XT, Magura Racelines and more. Currently it's wearing a pair of Bomber Superfly...

Wow, it's just beautiful. If I had 5K to throw at a bike this would probably be in the top 5 of any list. I am very lucky to have a Wicked. IMO all Fat's seem to ride superbly but this would be the icing on the cake! I hope some lucky owner on here gets hold of it :)

TBH any expander wedge should generally be okay, providing it's correct for the steerer's internal diameter (25.4" for a 1 1/8" stem). Velocity Stems came out of the same HL factory as Zoom and Kalloy so any of the above offered by Walterscot may even be the same as supplied! Hope this helps :)

This has cropped up on here before, I think the consensus then was that it must run calipers. There seems to be no obvious cable mountings for drum brakes. Not sure I would fancy that off road though... Alternatively it could make for a fun fixed gear project if you're feeling brave :)
