Same here, it isn't just this forum but I have project threads on all sorts of stuff that is now page after page of broken picture links :( So many resources all over the web have been wiped out by this, so many tutorials and reference guides!

Minor update, I have been after the brace for my bars for a couple of years on and off, put a wanted ad up a few weeks ago and Tizumo kindly offered me one for a great price :) Fitted last night (ignore the controls, they all need re-aligning after all being off) Takes me right back to the...

I noticed that my seat was getting more and more uncomfortable recently, I think after all these years it was basically just plastic left so I cleaned up my spare Flite (which came up surprisingly well) and fitted it to the Claud. Took it out today and it's far better now :)

Wondering if anyone has a brace bar for a Club Roost Go Fast riser? 8)

They are primarily the bolts around the stem and handlebars so nothing overly special and should be easy enough to just replace them.

Been giving my bike a once over this weekend and noticed a few of the screws have got a little bit of surface rust showing, is there a process that could be used to remove it or am I better just replacing them for better quality ones?

My 1995 Claud Butler Vantage. Wanted something that was a bit easier when munching road miles, cheap set of City Jet's and it does the job just fine and it's nice that after 22 years of ownership, it is still proving useful!

Has anyone got a 31.8mm (outer diameter) seat QR? Looking for one in black and i'd like either Hope or GT to match the rest of my equipment.... PM's please :)

Nice bike, in my experience, the old 90's Claud Butlers are great workhorses, I have had mine since new in 1995!

Re: '94 GT Zaskar Aqua Looking as good as ever. They do ride so well when fully rigid, I never really got on with the Bombers on mine.

It is surprisingly comfortable, the bars are quite wide which I think helps! They certainly don't look bad, I actually miss the look of the grey Psycho 2 tyres but these ride fantastic on the road so they are staying :D Thanks for the replies, nice to see the old girl getting some attention...

Forgot I had this thread, not much of an update....fitted a set of risers a while ago and still racking up the miles on it, actually a very comfortable bike to ride now. Owned for 22 years now :o Still need to give it a once over, gears are all over the place at the minute.
