for people reading this thread, i talked with someone from gt who tested the rts pre-production (living in socal has its upsides). He said that it is a long travel link that turns the rts into a competent full suspension frame. He also said that it was an aftermarket but GT-endorsed product...

inline noleen NR2 vs piggyback NR3. NR3 has the adjustable lower eyelet and ball joint.

Holy Crap!!! found it!! mine was off a 95ish with the inline shock that i bought for spares. the link is a little different in shape to the oem one and only works with the inline as the ball joint is too wide. mine was bought in south san diego CA

Hey! I have found these tires for a really fair price, much cheaper than the smoke/ darts except they have a center ridge. most of my riding on my vintage bike is extremely dry and dusty, loose over hard/loose/loose 1-5" cobbles. would this tire be suitable for those things or do I suck it up...

I have an xt m750 cassette that's 11-34, so that mega 9 stuff does work with 34t

yeah its cuz the alloy is like cheese. i would say its fine for cruising though.

dont want to burst your bubble as thats incredible for free but if those cranks are the 1995 m501/501m cranks they are recalled.
