yes, that is what im finding. i judt tried a threaded Token 1 - 1/8 but its about 8-10mm too short :-(

1993 project two forks…what size quill to ahead stem adaptor would I need?

From what I can see, all the konas in this thread are using the impact headset. Do you have experience of a standard 1 1/8 threaded headset on any of your builds …with project two forks on a 19inch frame?

I’m not adverse to replacing decals or repainting on a scruffy bike. But with the paint being in such good condition here … OEM all the way. Nice set of components you’re accumulating too. That chain set particularly 😎

Yes I bought one last year. Used it once and swiftly returned to my preferred method… hand sand with wet n dry /wire wool. Dremmel tool and hand polish to refine , seal with auto products.

Yep! I can sympathise. Same scenario here …I have to work outdoors so any painting is restricted to our annual two days of good weather

As above, the steel gauge looks quite substantial. I would remove the paint beyond the welds (as you’ve done on the left hand side) to properly assess. Remove all traces of rust with a wire brush to get into any pitting. Apply rust treatment following manufactures instructions … don’t try to...
