It's always the small parts that catch you out. Has anyone got a spare mounting block for the the front mech for an Alpinestars E-Stay frame? I went to fit my shiny XT front mech, got the bolt but I can't find the threaded block that goes behind the mech tab on the frame. :facepalm: Any chance...

That's lovely, that is....but just got my hands on an e stay frame and am starting on the bits for it. Got to avoid temptation if I am to finish this build. Great job on the bike though and you just can't beat butterscotch Psychos. :P

Re: Think you are right judging by the position of the top tube/ seat tube weld. Might have a bid on that. Would really like an Al-Mega though. That Ti-Mega, irony is at the moment I probably have the funds available to get within the price range above £2K though not as high as that guy's...

Looking for a 17" (or smaller frame) 1992, 1993 Al-Mega prefered but would now consider Cro-Mega. And if possible no obvious cracks. :roll: I didn't have a lot of luck with the last two I managed to get my hands on. Garage wall display only both of them.

Decided that my Al Mega build needs some vintage Canadian goodness so I am after:- 1 1/4" quill Cattleprod stem ideally 130mm 15deg Hardcore 330 seatpost (29.4mm if poss but will consider smaller and shim it out) Hardcore/Gorilla handlebars if you have them. Not necessarily looking for...
