    Hope compatibility…

I possibly have an axle, but finding spacers will be another matter. Not sure they make those any more* Hope's diagram for the BULB rear. https://www.hopetech.com/_repository/1/documents/BulbRearHubExploded.pdf

Looks like a bargain to me... its a Parkpre

Spotted this, and when you take it all into account, its a pretty good deal. Parkpre(underrated company) Mag 21 fork, and a pair of wheels ,117 ceramic. Wheels alone are usually a fair price themselves (in fact theres a pair on here for 250), and the frame looks mint. Fork according to seller...

    eBay scam?

I have ebay set to sell in the UK only. TBH thats the safest option, in that you dont have to send anything thousands of miles and hope nothing goes wrong, but which i mean lost or damaged, or even stolen. If I were you I'd cancel that sale, then go into settings and change 'ships to' to be UK...

Why do we want rare, complicated stuff?! Amp forks kupput

When I renovated my F4 BLT it needed amongst other things a spring, as one was missing. I phoned a couple of spring makers who quoted prices for progressive custom wound this and that and were asking close on £200 each. While out and about I happened on a small engineering workshop and brass...

1 1/8" fork, with what appears to be 1 1/4" crown race. Suggestions

Is this what I need ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256226521599 My LBS is a bike mechanic chap. A proper fully qualified professional bike mechanic, not a partly trained bike shop variety. So that might be an option. But the nature of his job is he's always really busy and if I pass the work on...

1 1/8" fork, with what appears to be 1 1/4" crown race. Suggestions

I bought a cheap ebike, with a damaged fork, and went to change the fork for another but found the crown race was loose on the new fork. The original fork is 1 1/8" and the new fork is 1 1/8" but on the original fork where the crown race fits, the measurement is 32.5mm when it should be 30mm...

Show us your vape. Here's mine.

I've been getting on well with my vaping(cigarette quitting) Seems theres 2 types of coil which give two types of flavour. Coil, and a plate type of thing(Dont ask me which is which) I think it is the plate type which gives the most flavour and taste which is similar to the disposable, and the...

    Wanted 1 1/8" 700c disc fork needed (100mm QR)

I recently bought a new e-bike(crc bargain/sales) only to find the fork blades are twisted. in that one is further forward of the other and given the type this is not repairable. So I need a new fork to replace it. Prefer steel, for disc as title, 1 1/8", length on the duff one is 235mm, so...

State of the industry: a running thread

You need to keep your eyes open and check on a daily basis. There were some Hope pro5 non boost wheels going for £61 rear, and I got a pro5 rear 29er(148x12 boost) for £216, which is a good 80 quid saving. A chap on STW picked up a pair of Zipp 1Zero Hitop 30mm, Carbon wheels for £286 inc...

State of the industry: a running thread

Unlikely unless this Yorkshireman was originally from Germany or Scotland. You invented a type of pudding, best leave it at that ;) I picked up another Ebike. A simple city/commuter type this time and 1/12th of what my other cost. Sold out now...

Would you class this as new or NOS?

Some people are just ripping the piss out it though with the over the top pricing. 85 plus has the cheek to ask postage for what looks like a used stem.
