Gorgeous, timeless build. I've a lot of love for Canadian parts as well. just bought some PNW bars. My favourite Canuck manufacturer was Straitline, still use there defacto pedals and SSC stem on my DJ/4x bike. Such a pity they no longer make MTB components.

All that carbon fibre and lightweight rims and the hub has a steel freehub not the Ti one...

I managed to score an MRP ramp control cheap during the build, so had to scrap the old model air cap. That's real dedication to building a true replica. You realise that once this is built you're either going to have to buy another Yeti to be able to ride and upgrade and freeze the one this is...

Might put it on singletrack world if you think there would be any interest. I'm betting there would be a helluva lot of interest. Lots of talented folk on there as shown in the 'what's the last thing you made' thread but IMO this blows them all out of the water.

Holy shit this is incredible. Could have stumped up for some DT 240's instead of 350's though :) Intrigued to know (but not taking anything away from the model whatever the answer is) how much of it will articulate/move/rotate etc when it's finished - stem/forks turn in the 'headset'? Cranks...

That's an original Vit T not a T2, and has the external butted sleeve on the seat tube which a few have. Also looks to have 1 1/8" head tube from the pics. Nice, would be keen as a spare for mine at the starting price but the disc mount puts me off, can understand why it was done at the time...

Love this, both the build and the riding. Have a hankering after a trials bike myself currently but just shows what can be done on a stock MTB build. BITD everyone did a bit of trials as it was in the mags with Martin/Martyn, Hans Ray, Akrigg etc so I spent my fair share of time on picnic...

Brakes look great, wonder if they have fixed the cracking issue with the originals? Only part I'm not sure on id the cranks, I think the silver forged Syncros crankset would look better?

Yes, love this. Looks ace, nice splash of matching colour without overdoing it. I do like the 18Bikes frames, quality.
