Can you just replace the skewer? The QR20 front axle just used a rear QR skewer.

    Help to identify the frame.

That is 100% a Hodaka/Fastrax frame. Best known in the UK as a Coyote. That suggests that the Racer brand is not a UK one. Would be interested in any more photos of the 7040 if you have any.

Are there any 26" wide 25.4 flat bars circa 94 ish

That's 660mm in new money. Pretty wide. I find 560mm bars a bit narrow, 580mm is my sweet spot. Looks like there are modern bars in 660 on ebay.

Put up the frame number too. It could be helpful but it should mean we can put a date on it.

Folders! Foldable bicycles, minivelos and demontables

Here's mine. I don't think I've shared it on retrobike.co.uk before. Had it about 5 years now, did a century ride on it a few years ago. Built it up so I could ride it and fit it in the boot of my Fabia. However it's never been in the car!

    Muddy Fox serial numbers?

Not that I'm aware of. There were several formats used for Muddy Fox frames- Early 80s, were Araya with format such as 'A4A0266' Late 80s frames were still manufactured by Araya but the frame numbers started 'ARY' I've seen a mid 90s frame with number starting FC94 on here... Finally 'P' and...

What does it look like? Similar to this one? https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/marin-tip-find.452892/ That's the closest match I have based on the frame number.

    Help Identifying a Claud Butler

The decals match but the frame doesn't. Frame number suggests 1998 but nothing else close in my records, Plus look at those cowled dropouts and also the CNC chainstay yoke. Post 1997 for sure, as no rear cantilever hanger.

    Coyote ultralite (picture added)

Of course it's worth something. How much? Depends on all the components and their condition, worth more in parts. Got to be at least £1000 as it stands, the paint on the frame looks very good.
