Does anyone have a source for reasonable quality but inexpensive cables? I need a full set of gear and brake inners and outers to build a bike up to sell; I'd be pleasantly surprised if the complete bike fetches £75, so I'm not really keen to spend a third of that on cables!

Was there a thread on here recently with photos of old DX, XT and XTR groupsets, along with all the product codes? I can't seem to find it. Does anyone have a handy link?

Powder coating isn't particularly dear, I've just had a load of car bits done for £60, but I believe you need to be careful about the heat levels if it's a heat-treated aluminium frame. I saw a thread discussing it the other day but I can't remember if it was on here or Singletrack World.

Cracking bargain, I've just parted with £50 for a NOS UN71, wish I'd waited now!

My actual bike for reference. I don't like the silver stem and fork in comparison to the bronze version above and the stem is just that bit too long for me.

As per the thread title, I'm after a Kona Velocity stem for my '94 Fire Mountain renovation. Ideally it needs to be somewhere between 120mm and 135mm in length with a 0° or 5° degree rise. Cosmetic condition isn't particularly important as I'll be having it repainted along with the frame but...
