    My Frozen Red ‘97 Zaskar…

I'm even diggin' the tan sidewalls. Wow.

    So the Lotus finally happened

Definitively needs Spin wheels. Or Spengle.

1993 GT RTS Team (pic heavy)

The photo's are off the chart. The frame could use some extra polishing though :) You can never polish a bare GT enough.

    1996 GT Zaskar

I had one of these BITD. I cut out the blue part of the GT logo, looked sick. But I guess you don't want to ruin the decals :)

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

The fork is topping out with a big clunk. I have not noticed a bottom out yet.

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

@RockiMnt: your Cirrus was the inspiration to go with the AMP fork, what a beauty. How do you maintain your fork? Where do you get new shafts and bushes? I saw that Amp research still exists, but is it the same company (and do they still make parts for the forks?). Because I think I need some...

    GTTurbo's Yeti F.R.O.

Super nice. The purple is totally not OTT. But not diggin' the white saddle though.

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

Found a rigid fork somewhere. Maybe spray paint this one red? I also fixed the Amp fork. The circlips on the main shaft were missing. But more problematic, the groove for one of the circlips was worn out. I drilled a hole, tapped M4 threads and found a nice stainless bolt. Now the shaft stays in...

    GT RTS 1 1992 frame

I bought one 5 years ago for $150, but it had the aluminum rear, not the steel one. And it has a small dent in the top tube. Not sure how that affects the price.

    92 Raleigh for a fiver

I had one as my first mountainbike. When this got stolen, I got a real MTB, a Zaskar.

Steerer Tube Swap Shop - shorter for longer! NO SALES!

Maybe a good idea for all that want a longer steerer tube, if you want aheadset, look at something like this: https://hollandbikeshop.com/fietsonderdelen-mtb/mtb-stuur-stuurpen/mtb-stuurpen-verlenger/voorvork-verlenger-25-4x210mm/ You can trim it to length just the way you want it. And it...

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

I went for a ride on the Rocky Mountain Cirrus today. Can't say that I'm impressed by the forks, very flexible and the top-out clunk is loud. And I lost some circlips, so the main shaft kept working it's way out, so I had to press it in a few times.

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

I got a Flite TT saddle and I put the Crossmax wheels back in because I thought they looked better than the Mavic SUPs. I also fixed the steerer and the bike is now rideable. Hopefully the weather cooperates this weekend.

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

AFter cutting some decals and applying a 2K clear coat, I put the forks back in the bike. I need to adjust to the look :) Finished fork: In the bike (I need to shorten the steerer sometimes). I also found some Michelin 26x1.95" tires. They look really skinny.

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

Painted the fork blades black and lightly polished and cleaned the fork crown. It came out looking great. I still need to get/make decals and apply a 2K clear coat. Maybe I also need a new main pivot, there's a slight indent from wear. Also the "damper" has some issues, there seems to be no...

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

Took the forks apart, sanded the fork blades and sprayed then with primer. I have to order the black paint and cut the decals (or get new ones).

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

I was more referring to the skinny tubes of the fork blades, they match the skinny tubes of the steel Blizzard frame better than the thicker tubes of the alu Cirrus frame. But indeed, the angles better match the eStay frame.

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

Got the fork in yesterday. I test fitted it and it looks like the steerer is long enough to be used with a quill stem. Of course, I don't have a quill stem, so it's not ridable at the moment. So now I'm debating between getting a quill stem and use the Deore LX headset that came with the fork...

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

A new acquisition: Will do a new respray before fitting to the bike. Also, I need to lengthen the steerer tube before I can use it. The Pace fork can be moved to the Blizzard again after that :)

    1991 Rocky Mountain Cirrus

@foxb13 I found the V33 stripper in Belgium, close enough. About the front derailleur, I did have some issues with it, mainly it hitting the rear tire on the granny gear. So maybe I also have a BB that's too short. I run it in 2x9 for now.
