Drive side pic..and the more I think about the polished fork legs the more I think you are right, although would get my powdercoaters to put a polished alloy style finish as this bike gets rough treatment

    Wot happened to fat bikes

Always wanted a Girvin on a modern Fatbike/ Adventure bike so approached @danson67 a few years ago and he built longer and wider fork legs to go on Noleen Crosslinks ( the best choice for this conversion). I have had the shock rebuilt and it is super smooth. About 75-80mm of travel which is all...

There is method behind the madness...much neater than mounting behind on the Girvin legs...fully approved by @danson67 and have been working well for 20 months with no issues

Girvin crosslinks. What do they look good on and is a disc conversion viable?

Yeah they use a shim on the top and had a specific crown race. 1" spacers and a 1" Proflex stem. You are better finding some Noleen Crosslinks

Girvin crosslinks. What do they look good on and is a disc conversion viable?

You've got early crosslinks ( labelled Girvin not Noleen) that were shimmed to1⅛ but used a 1" stem. I've got a pair on a Proflex Reptile Frame. The generation after were 1⅛ true

Girvin crosslinks. What do they look good on and is a disc conversion viable?
