I remember when Richard Burton used to ride for the famous British Eagle 853 team. He used to come on the team radio all gravelly voice, 'Broadsword calling Danny boy, come in Danny boy.'

A friend brought one of these back from the USA. Suprisingly nice bike to ride and shone up well, for its time quite well specced. A lot of them were 27" wheels.

They tend not to get to have massive head tubes like everybody else, so in the larger sizes the top tubes get longer and longer but the head tubes are still relatively small compared to trad british geo where the top tubes dont really get longer beyond a certain point but seat and head tubes do...

Ok, I stand corrected. It looks a bit manky though, the colour consistency looking quite rust like, It doesnt present the bike in its best light is all I'm saying. GLWS

Thats a nice bike let down by a rusty chain. Worth putting a new one on there IMHO to snag potential buyers some more.
