Best Non Aero levers and cantilevers

I quite enjoy the roulette of bending Mafac pad holders with a pair of pliers. I'm sure the 60 year old aluminium loves it :) Agree about the Tektro 720s - not made anymore though so NOS stocks are low most places. Dia Compe 980s look equally easy to set up.

What is the best groupset over the past 25 years (1998-2023) in your opinion?

Yes common failure that almost broke the cycling interweb a while back. Here's the AI summary: Shimano's 11-speed Ultegra and Dura-Ace cranksets have been recalled due to a risk of the crankset's bonded construction separating and breaking, which could lead to a crash: Number of affected...

    Campagnolo Chainsets

For anyone thinking of buying online from a trad auction...I maybe teaching you to suck eggs here but always ask for a condition report and don't be shy on asking them questions or for more pictures including close ups. Provided you give them enough time ie not the day before the sale they...

    Campagnolo Chainsets

Maybe they don't want to get stiffed for the boxes being in a non perfect state...and then the winning bidder comes back at them? I'm not great on auctioneer logic at the best of times.

    Campagnolo Chainsets

Auction houses never post anything. If you buy from a trad auction via thesaleroom.com they do use a company called mailboxes etc who can collect, wrap and courier to you but that service is mainly aimed at art and antiques and is mahoosively expensive. I used to work for a company that did...

    Gios? for £100 in Derby

The seller seems to be covering his arse with 'I'm not sure if it is a gios'. I'm also not sure it is a Gios. The fork crown should have the pantographed coin indent or be sloping. I could easily be wrong of course.
