Clearly the seller has a firm idea of what they want for it. So why eff about on ebay with some unrealistic shenanigans? If it goes on ebay at £2k (a big if) how much do ebay take in fees out of that??
List it in here or somewhere else where a genuine enthusiastic who really wants it will stump...
"Custom" build with no details of by who using what?!?!? Only recommended for very light use with heavy caveating about the buyer risking their own hide yada yada!!

Those forks lok very "upright" for a tourer to me.
I wonder if it was in a frontal impact and the other lot (the frame and forks) was a replacement to transfer parts on to?

What a great project. I love the look of these eighties early ATB's.
One day I will use them as inspiration to build a 700c early 80s interpretation of what is called a flat bar gravel bike now, buy was called a hybrid or city bike back then 👍
