    Nice M-TRAX Ti3000 starting at £25 (Woking) Pace RC35

Somebody got that for a good price as it looked like it just needed new elastomers in the pace forks and it would be good to go. Just too much for me as it would have a last ditch (and probably failed) attempt to get my kids into cycling. That i would then have had to move on.

    Swallow mountain bike

I am interested in the asymmetric elements of the frame as i have never seen these before. What are the benefits? Dors it align the drive train better? Rich.

    Swallow mountain bike

Were these designed with asymmetrical seat stays? In picture 9 the non-drive side looks much "bendier" than the drive side??? Anyone tlse think so? I wonder why "Air" sprayed it (post accident damage?)or did they do work for Swallow?

    My Proflex 454 project

I have just proved my belief that patience is a retro bikers greatest tool is true........earlier in the day i had struggled to get the crank remover tool threaded into the drive side crank. I could see and feel threads but wondered if they were slightly damaged? Anyway, I was working on the...

How do Proflex full suspension bikes ride

Well, i am hoping i have found a project bike to let me try a pro-flex for myself. The owner and i have hatched a plan today that should get it from Essex to Hampshire with extensive use if an "integrated" transport system that abhors any full size/non-folding bikes. Plenty of scope for Mr cock...

Rockhopper or Palisades Trail for touring ?

Are you planning on using panniers? If so keep the one with the longest chain stays so your heels don't clip the panniers as you pedal.

    Whats this then? Homemade addition

Is it designed to scrape mud off the chain rings in really sloppy conditions?

How do Proflex full suspension bikes ride

I have a full sus retro ride scratch i would like to itch. I have always hankered after a proflex so thought I would start my search there. But what are they like to ride? My thing is cross country exploring rather than anything gnarly. Would a proflex suit me? Anything else I should be...
